once, there lived a widow in a villagevon tanimbar island maluku. she had two childern a boy and a girl. they were both very mean and spoiled. their mother took care of them and did all the household chores. the two childeen treated their mother like a slave.
one day, the two lazy childern woke up late. there was no food served on the table but it was still being cooked on the stove. the childern got so angry and then they smashed the cooking pots on the floor. then they went out and looking for their mother. they soon found her in the river scrubbing their dirty clothes. they started to hit her again and again although she begged for mercy they didn't pay attention.
suddenly she stopped crying and her body became limp. they heard her low voice, from now on you are no longer my childern. you are the incarnation of the devil himself. i won't go back to our home. do whatever you want, i don't care.
